Evernote and rhymezone a good combination to write lyrics

20090813 Evernote Rhymezone

I’ve been using a combination of Evernote and Rhymezone to write lyrics. Writing lyrics is one of those things that I’m not particularly comfortable with but the Evernote interface is very good for writing the occasional note and for keeping track of stuff that can inspire us like articles or news on the internet by installing the firefox addon. It can even be used to scan and send the paper notes that we take in our notebooks (like those moleskine notebooks we all love love).

On the other hand, Rhymezone is a very good free online rhyme tool. I own a couple of “dead tree” format rhyme dictionaries but I’m not good at carrying them with me everywhere so I found that an online solution to be the best. I researched other web pages but this is the one that I’ve found shows the most rhymes.

  1. You should try out my rhyming dictionary at http://stevehanov.ca/rhyme. It uses artificial intelligence to try to find even more rhymes.

  3. [...] Last friday I went to the coach station in Puebla to take a coach to Acapulco for the weekend. Yes, nice . I made the reservation on the phone and they gave me a code to get the tickets once at the station. Usually I would have used my mobile phone for this but this time I had my iPod and was eager to use the Evernote application. Evernote is an very good application for storing all sorts of notes and I recommend to everyone. [...]
